Location:
The Windsor Building of Westminster Manor, 4200 Jackson Avenue, Austin. The Windsor building is the Northern-most building of Westminster Manor. The main entrance is off of Bull Creek Road. Once you enter the Windsor Building, please sign in and ask the receptionist to direct you to the room. We will be on the second floor. 

Parking:
There is a parking lot in front of the Windsor Building. Entrance to this parking lot is off of Bull Creek Road.

Activity Description:
Help sort produce donations in the food pantry in preparation for the Thursday and Friday morning food distributions to clients of the Hope Food Pantry.

Trinity United Methodist Church, 4001 Speedway, Austin. Enter the pantry by walking down the gravel path in the alley off of 40th Street. The pantry door is the last door on the left with the keypad. If the door is not propped open, knock and the lead will open it for you.

Austin Dog Alliance Pet Therapy Helpers

Activity Description:
Your children will pet and play with and/or read to the therapy dogs that are participating in the pet therapy program at Austin Dog Alliance. Please note that during this activity parents typically wait in the lobby and watch the children rather than participate. This project helps to give the dogs experience working with kids. The staff at the Austin Dog Alliance provide structured direction during the activity.

Sunshine Camps Carnival Helpers

Activity Description:
Help out alongside other community volunteers during Carnival Night at the Austin Sunshine Camps. You and your children will help set up and run a carnival booth and then assist with clean up after Carnival Night ends. This activity is outdoors, but in the shade. We recommend closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing appropriate for weather that evening. Sunshine Camps requires a background check for all adults attending - cost is $10 per adult.
