Thank you for supporting Little Helping Hand's mission. Your donation enables us to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for our youngest community members. The generosity of our donors and patrons helps to ensure that our programs continue to incorporate the value of community service in young children; inspiring the next generation of volunteers and philanthropists.

Little Helping Hands has been granted non-profit status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to Little Helping Hands are tax deductible.

We are making a difference

In 2011, we provided more than 1,600 children and 1,000 families with opportunities to make a difference in our community.

• 1,400 hours sorting or assembling donations such as clothes, food and school supplies
• 6,000 meal servings/food items donated and prepared for homeless, working poor and children or families experiencing traumatic times
• 400 hours visiting with the elderly, supporting newly arriving refugees, and helping out at charitable events
• 500 computers broken down for recycling and reuse
• 1,200 hours spent on city/park clean-ups and environmental or beautification projects

How your support can help

The demand for our volunteer opportunities is high and the volunteer needs within our community plentiful. We are 100% self-funded and rely on your generous support to continue and expand our work. Your contributions will help fund staff, program, and general operating expenses. In addition, your donations will not only provide valuable community service opportunities for children and families, but also goods and services for other non-profits and beneficiaries within the Austin community.
