Family Volunteer Day 2009
21 families, 27 children participated in Little Helping Hands volunteer activities on Family Volunteer Day 2009.
Activities included farming and harvesting at Green Gate Farms, trash/litter pick-up with Purty Up Austin at Boggy Creek Greenbelt Park, mulching/planting flowers and trash/litter pick-up at Eilers Park, sorting and hanging clothes at a Goodwill Retail store, and weighing and packing 3000 lbs. of carrots at the Capital Area Food Bank.
